The index closed at 6,835.80, up 15.78 points (0.23%) from the previous trading day. After opening at 6,784.29, it briefly fell to 6,732.47 before recovering its losses and turning upward, recording an intraday high of 6,857.35.

SK Square closed the regular session at 1,067,000 won, up 2.89% from the previous trading day, posting the largest gain. Samsung Electronics Preferred shares rose 2.04% to 190,300 won, and Samsung C&T climbed 3.72% to 390,500 won.

SK Hynix finished trading at 1,693,000 won, up 1.14%, and Samsung Life Insurance also closed 1.14% higher at 309,500 won. Samsung Electronics gained 0.38% to 261,000 won, and Samsung Biologics rose 0.13% to 1,520,000 won.

Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution closed down 2.91% at 367,000 won. Samsung Electro-Mechanics dropped 1.92% to 1,430,000 won, and Hyundai Motor declined 0.74% to 400,500 won.
