The September 2026 national joint academic evaluation for first-year high school students was held on the 2nd. EBSi is conducting a survey on the perceived difficulty of this exam through its website.

As of 2:33 p.m. that day, 31 respondents had participated in the survey. Of the respondents, 48.4% rated the exam as 'very difficult,' while 35.5% said it was 'somewhat difficult.' Combined, the proportion of students who felt the exam was difficult reaches 83.9%.

In contrast, responses indicating the exam was easy were in the minority. 'Somewhat easy' accounted for 9.7% and 'very easy' for 3.2%, totaling just 12.9%. Only 3.2% of respondents said it was 'average.'

However, these results should be considered in light of the fact that they were tallied in the early stage of the survey. With only 31 participants, the sample remains small.

For first-year high school students, this academic evaluation serves as an opportunity to assess the learning outcomes accumulated since entering high school and to identify their strengths and weaknesses by subject. It is necessary to establish study plans for each subject based on the exam results.
