The game, to be revealed in episode 11 of Channel A's 'Queen of Baseball 2,' marks the seventh showdown between the two teams. The Black Queens currently hold a 4-2 record, facing the crisis of team disbandment if their winning percentage falls below .600. The matchup carries special significance as Goyang Special City is the successor of the Busters, who handed the Black Queens a loss in Season 1.

Early in the game, the two teams were locked in an even battle at 2-2 through the bottom of the second inning. In the top of the third, the Black Queens replaced starting pitcher Ayaka and brought Jang Soo-young to the mound. Jang had been pulled early after just two innings in the game against the Busters in Season 1, and she hopes to make up for it in this appearance.
