Kyangdong Electric has decided to transfer land and buildings located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, for 68 billion won. The company announced this through a regulatory filing on the 18th, citing improved financial structure and secured liquidity as the purpose of the transfer.

The assets being transferred are land, buildings, and structures located in Wonsi-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. The transfer amount of 68 billion won is the price stated in the sales contract, excluding taxes, public dues, and fees, and it amounts to 30.85% of the company's total assets (2,204,269,481,38 won) as of the end of the 2025 consolidated fiscal year.

The counterparty to the transaction is Haesung DS Co., Ltd. The payment will be made in cash, with value-added tax separate. The down payment of 13.6 billion won was paid on September 18, the contract date, and the balance of 54.4 billion won is due on November 11. The transfer reference date and the scheduled registration date are also set for November 11.

However, Kyangdong Electric stated that the sale schedule and payment details could change through negotiations with the counterparty. The scheduled registration date is also an obligation of the counterparty and may vary depending on the buyer's registration acceptance date.

Meanwhile, regarding this asset transfer, Hanmi Accounting Firm conducted an external valuation from September 14 to 17. The firm judged that the transaction price falls within a reasonable range from a financial perspective, taking into comprehensive consideration the appraised value by a licensed appraisal firm, market price levels in nearby areas, and any special relationships between the parties to the asset transfer.
