On Channel A's 'Baseball Queen 2,' the Black Queens found themselves engulfed in a series of injury crises.

The Black Queens defeated Goyang Special City to snap a two-game losing streak, improving their all-time record to five wins and two losses. However, injuries overshadowed the victory. Kim Seong-yeon and Song-a suffered wrist and finger injuries, respectively, while Song Min-ji was hit on the wrist by a baseball during defensive training and was diagnosed with a fracture. Song Min-ji requires a cast for at least six to eight weeks, dealing a major blow to the team.

After it was confirmed that most of the injuries occurred during individual training, manager Choo Shin-soo gathered all the players for a discipline session. Manager Choo warned, "Getting injured when no coaches are around is truly wrong. It's something that drives not only yourself but the entire team into crisis," adding, "Don't do anything the manager and coaches haven't taught you." He went on to emphasize the importance of physical care, saying, "No matter how good you are at baseball, what's the point if your body is hurt... Taking care of your body is just as important as your skills."

Song Min-ji returned to the dugout in tears. Coach Lee Dae-hyung comforted her, saying, "Nothing is harder for her than being injured. She just needs to fully recover and come back to fill the void." Pitching coach Yoon Seok-min expressed his regret, saying, "She went from being an ace pitcher to just the 'A'—knowing how hard she has worked, it tears my heart apart."

Meanwhile, despite the injuries, the Black Queens will play their eighth game of the season against Cheonan Junior. The game will mark the second in-person viewing for the fandom 'Kkamang-i,' and catcher Shin So-jung will sit out due to work-related matters. With the extreme heat acting as a variable, the game will unfold under challenging conditions.
