TerahView has secured a new order through an inspection equipment supply contract with a foreign company.
TerahView announced in a regulatory filing on the 28th that it signed an inspection equipment supply contract worth approximately 1.36146 billion won with Covalent Metrology. The contract amount equals 17.39% of the company's recent revenue of approximately 7.82812 billion won (May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026).
Covalent Metrology, the counterparty, provides quality and defect analysis services for materials and devices to advanced technology companies in sectors such as semiconductors and packaging.
The contract amount is USD 1.007 million, converted into Korean won at the exchange rate as of the 28th (1,352 won per dollar).
The contract period runs from the 25th through January 20, 2027. The start date is based on the order confirmation date and the end date on the final payment receipt deadline, with the end date subject to change by mutual agreement between the two companies.
Under the contract, the inspection equipment will be produced by TerahView itself and supplied overseas. The filing stated that there is no separate contract deposit or advance payment.
Notably, this filing serves as the answer to an extraordinary market fluctuation inquiry disclosure requested by the exchange on the 10th. TerahView had previously submitted an unconfirmed response to the inquiry on the 11th.
However, the actual timing of revenue recognition and the scale of its reflection on earnings will need to be verified based on the future performance of the contract.
