MBN's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'The Boss's Blatant Taste' will premiere on November 11, 2026, at 10:20 p.m. Starring Sung Hoon and Oh Se-young, it depicts the romance between a chaebol boss and a woman who was formerly the vocalist of an indie band.

'The Boss's Blatant Taste' is based on a Naver web novel and webtoon. It is directed by Kang Sol, written by screenwriter Nam Ji-yeon, and produced by Gadin Media and Artist Studio.

◆ A Boss Who Trusts Only Data vs. an Unpredictable Job Seeker

In the drama, Kwon Do-hyuk is a chaebol boss with firm tastes. As the CEO of OYes Entertainment, he is portrayed as someone with 'zero empathy' who trusts only data. In contrast, Lee Eun-chae is a job seeker and former indie band vocalist, characterized by her bright energy and unpredictable charm.

The two characters' connection begins at a hospital. After witnessing Lee Eun-chae wearing a doctor's gown, Kwon Do-hyuk becomes suspicious of her and later proposes that she become his secretary for three months. The two thus enter a contractual relationship.

Within this contract relationship, Kwon Do-hyuk and Lee Eun-chae become conscious of each other, and their relationship begins to change. Although they argue at first, they gradually open their hearts to each other and grow closer.

The production team stated that Sung Hoon and Oh Se-young show a high sync rate with the original work, and that they plan to portray the tumultuous romance the two characters experience, from their first meeting to entering the contract relationship.
