A large volume of XRP has entered the market as Ripple released 1 billion XRP that had been locked in escrow. According to cryptocurrency media outlet CoinGape, Ripple unlocked a total of 1 billion XRP through four transactions recorded on the XRP Ledger, with the amounts released in tranches of 100 million, 300 million, 400 million, and 200 million. The release came as XRP's price has been holding within a certain range over short time frames.
■ "Short-Term Pullback to $1.25 Possible... $20–30 in the Long Term"
According to CoinGape, cryptocurrency analyst CrediBULL Crypto projected that XRP could become one of the strongest-performing cryptocurrencies in the current uptrend. He believes XRP is currently moving within a short-term trading range and could fall further to around $1.25 before the next major upward move. However, his long-term outlook is far more optimistic. Regarding price, he offered specific figures, saying, "Personally, I expect $20 to $30, but $15 would also be a good starting point."
CrediBULL Crypto claimed that XRP could show stronger gains than Ethereum (ETH) in this cycle when measured by returns from the bottom. He stated, "XRP will show one of the biggest rallies in this cycle, and I think in terms of gains from the low, it will be bigger than Ethereum's."
■ "Crypto Market Could Realistically Exceed $10 Trillion"
CoinGape reported that CrediBULL Crypto linked his XRP price outlook to the growth potential of the overall cryptocurrency market. He claimed that by the end of this cycle, the total cryptocurrency market cap could reach "realistically over $10 trillion." He compared this with the U.S. stock market at roughly $80 trillion, the global stock market at over $150 trillion, and the gold market at around $35 trillion. Based on this, CoinGape reported that his forecast is for an additional $5 to $10 trillion to flow into the cryptocurrency market during this cycle.
CrediBULL Crypto also noted that Ethereum grew to over $500 billion in 2021, and that XRP briefly surpassed Ethereum during the 2017–2018 cycle. He predicted that if Ethereum reaches a $1 trillion market cap, XRP would not lag far behind at that scale.
■ XRP Flowing Out of Exchanges... Daily Withdrawals Reach Up to 320 Million
Amid the large XRP release, a substantial amount of XRP has flowed out of exchanges. CoinGape reported that exchange withdrawals surged in tandem with Ripple's release of 1 billion XRP, which could be a positive signal for the market. According to data cited by CoinGape, daily withdrawals, based on transactions exceeding 1 million XRP, rose to as much as 320 million XRP, with Binance reporting the largest withdrawal volume among exchanges.
■ "Accumulation Indicator at Maximum of 100... Building Strength for the Next Rally"
According to CoinGape, analyst CW also identified positive signals for XRP's price on Coinbase's four-hour chart. At the time, XRP was moving in a range of roughly $1.47 to $1.57 and hovering near $1.49. The relative strength index (RSI) was slightly below 44.9, while the accumulation indicator hit its maximum value of 100. CoinGape reported that CW said, "The accumulation score of 100 indicates the strongest possible level," adding, "It is gathering strength for the next rally."
