Shin Hae-chul held onto the top spot in the Netizen Awards Hall of Fame Immortal Star category for September, marking his seventh consecutive month at No. 1. His first-place streak, which began in March, continued this month, once again confirming his fans' unwavering love.

According to the September voting results, Shin Hae-chul took first place with 1,436 votes (59.3%). Compared to August's 1,529 votes (60.2%), both his vote count and share dipped slightly, but he maintained a share in the high 50s, well over half of all votes. After winning first place in this category every month from March through August, Shin Hae-chal again received the most votes in September, never relinquishing the top spot throughout the repeated monthly voting.

■ Top Ranks Unchanged from August... Bae Ho's Votes Rise

The upper-tier rankings remained largely unshaken. Bae Ho stayed in second place with 393 votes (16.2%), an increase in both vote count and share over August's 369 votes (14.5%).

Third and fourth place were also identical to the previous month. Jang Hyun recorded third place with 238 votes (9.8%), after placing third in August with 251 votes (9.9%). Kim Jung-ho sat in fourth with 133 votes (5.5%), maintaining the same position as August's 141 votes (5.6%). Ultimately, from first-place Shin Hae-chul to fourth-place Kim Jung-ho, the rankings carried over unchanged from August to September, making it a month in which changes in vote counts and shares stood out more than changes in ranking within the leading group.

■ Yoo Jae-ha Rises to 5th... Swaps Places with Hyun-chul

The middle ranks saw mixed fortunes. Yoo Jae-ha climbed to fifth place with 119 votes (4.9%). Compared to August, when he was sixth with 86 votes (3.4%), he increased his vote count and moved up one spot in a month.

Conversely, Hyun-chul, who was fifth in August with 131 votes (5.2%), managed only 47 votes (1.9%) in September, dropping to sixth. In effect, the occupants of fifth and sixth place traded places.

Kim Kwang-seok held seventh place with 35 votes (1.4%). While his vote count and share rose from August's 21 votes (0.8%), there was no change in ranking.

■ Minor Changes in Lower Ranks... Jeon Tae-kwan Climbs One Spot to 9th

Small ranking changes also appeared in the lower tiers. Turtleman took eighth place with 8 votes (0.3%). Jeon Tae-kwan rose to ninth with 7 votes (0.3%), a one-step improvement over August, when he was tenth with 3 votes (0.1%).

Kim Hyun-sik recorded tenth place with 6 votes (0.2%). In August, he tied for eighth with Turtleman at 4 votes (0.2%) each, but his ranking fell in September.

September's Immortal Star category can be summarized as a month in which Shin Hae-chul's extended lead continued while the solid ranking structure of the top tier and changes in the middle and lower tiers appeared simultaneously. In particular, the key trends of this vote were Bae Ho in second place raising both his vote count and share amid Shin Hae-chul's seventh consecutive monthly win, and Yoo Jae-ha and Hyun-chul swapping places in the middle ranks.
