Kim Woo-jin, Kim Je-deok, and Lee Woo-seok defeated India 5-1 in the archery recurve men's team final, winning the event for the second consecutive time. The match was called on-site by announcer Jang Sung-kyu and commentator Ki Bo-bae.
During the match, announcer Jang Sung-kyu said, "Starting with the compound event, our rivalry with India has continued, so I hoped they would beat them decisively." Whenever the three archers hit a 10-point arrow, he shouted "X-Ten!" to add to the excitement.
After the match, Jang Sung-kyu said, "In the recurve events, we sadly took silver in the women's team event and bronze in the mixed team event. I wished for at least one gold medal, and these three athletes fulfilled the nation's wish. What a beautiful finish."
Following the match, on the KBS Sports YouTube channel 'Alls,' announcer Jang Sung-kyu and commentator Ki Bo-bae mentioned the harsh competition conditions, including strong winds. Ki Bo-bae commented, "The conditions at the venue were poor, so I thought it was fortunate that it didn't end with no medal."

On the same day, South Korea lost to India in the archery recurve women's team event to take silver, and was edged out by China in the mixed team event to claim bronze. Commentator Ki Bo-bae said, "In my days, we faced Chinese players over and over, but now it's the Indian players we keep meeting. The world's level is equalizing. I sometimes feel relieved that I retired a generation earlier."
Announcer Jang Sung-kyu and commentator Ki Bo-bae are scheduled to call the archery recurve individual events on-site on the 3rd as well.
■ Women's Football Defeats China to Win First Asian Games Bronze Medal in 8 Years
The women's national football team defeated China 1-0 to win their first Asian Games bronze medal in eight years. Commentators Jeon Ga-eul and Park Chan-ha and announcer Kim Jin-ung took part in the broadcast.
When Noh Jin-young scored the opening goal just four minutes into the match, commentator Jeon Ga-eul said, "It's a pleasant opening goal." The two teams then engaged in a fierce contest, but the match ended without any additional goals.
Commentator Park Chan-ha said, "They've won an Asian Games bronze medal for the first time in eight years. It's meaningful because it's the first time Korean women's football has beaten China in 11 years, since 2015." Commentator Jeon Ga-eul encouraged the team, saying, "It must have been really hard and pressurized to get here, so they truly worked hard.
