The South Korean men's national football team finished the first half 1-0 against Uzbekistan in a friendly, thanks to an opening goal from Son Heung-min.

Korea entered the second half with a one-goal lead in the international friendly against Uzbekistan, held at 8 p.m. on the 6th at Mir Stadium in Yongin.

On this day, Korea deployed Son Heung-min and Oh Se-hun as frontline strikers. The midfield consisted of Hwang Hee-chan, Park Jin-seop, Lee Jae-sung, and Lee Kang-in, while the defensive line was made up of Cho Hyun-taek, Kim Tae-hyun, Lee Han-beom, and Kim Tae-hyun. Jo Hyun-woo guarded the goal.

Korea seized the initiative just six minutes into the match with a goal from Son Heung-min. Korea's 1-0 lead began from the toe of Son, who found the net of Uzbekistan early in the game.

With this goal, Son Heung-min earned the honor of setting the record for the most goals in South Korean A-match history. He effectively caught 'two birds with one stone,' scoring the opening goal that gave the team the lead while also setting a personal record.

Korea continued to push for additional goals, but the score remained unchanged until the end of the first half. Uzbekistan also failed to find an equalizer, and the two teams finished the first half at 1-0.

With the match still hanging on a one-goal margin, attention is focused on how the second half will unfold. The key points to watch are whether Korea will score another goal to secure the win, or whether Uzbekistan will fight back to level the match.
