The South Korean men's national football team wrapped up its friendly match against Uzbekistan with a 2-0 victory. South Korea secured a two-goal win in the international friendly against Uzbekistan held at Mir Stadium in Yongin on the 6th at 8 p.m. South Korea took the early lead just six minutes into the match with Son Heung-min's opening goal. Afterwards, the two teams traded attacks, but no further goals came, and the first half ended with South Korea leading 1-0. With his opening goal that day, Son Heung-min recorded his 59th career A-match goal, surpassing former coach Cha Bum-kun to set a new record for the most goals in South Korean A-match history. In the second half, South Korea added another goal. In the 60th minute, Oh Se-hun headed in an additional goal to extend the score to 2-0. Following Son Heung-min in the first half, Oh Se-hun also found the net as South Korea pulled away by two goals. South Korea then held off Uzbekistan's pursuit without conceding, sealing the friendly with a victory.
