Singer Rothy returns to listeners with a new album containing her sincere personal story.

Rothy will release her new EP 'FLAT' today (the 8th) at 6 p.m. through various online music sites, officially launching her promotional activities. This album is a culmination that ties together the growth narrative Rothy has built through four previous singles. It features a total of five tracks, including the pre-released songs 'Don't Be', 'First Train', 'Sweetest', and 'Back to Me', along with the new song 'Alphabet'.

The title track 'Alphabet' is a disco-pop track that blends a bouncy bass with a soft melody. Its lyrics depict writing down one's feelings letter by letter toward someone who keeps occupying one's thoughts. Rothy's signature rich vocals meet an upbeat rhythm, vividly conveying the fluttering excitement and subtle emotions of falling in love.

The musical quality has also been elevated. Producer HAHM, who has worked with accomplished artists such as Onew, Sole, Seo In-guk, and Day6's Sungjin, handled the composition and arrangement. Renowned lyricist Cho Yun-kyung, who has collaborated with Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, EXO, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and RIIZE, also joined HAHM in writing the lyrics, delicately crafting the song's emotional flow. Notably, Rothy participated in writing the lyrics for every track on the album, delivering a sincere message about moving forward at her own pace and in her own way.

Meanwhile, the music video teaser for 'Alphabet', released ahead of the album's drop, is drawing heated attention. In the video, Rothy shows off playful and lovable charm with a variety of expressions, from cupping her face in her hands to puffing out her cheeks. Vintage color tones, heart graphics, and witty scene transitions come together to maximize the excitement of a narrator falling in love.

Rothy's new EP 'FLAT', which puts the finishing touch on her growth narrative, and the full music video for the title track 'Alphabet' will be available from 6 p.m. today on various online music sites and her official YouTube channel.
