HLB group stocks closed higher across the board in the market on the 8th. HLB Biostep, HLB Global, and HLB Panzin each hit the upper price limit, and attention is focused on whether the upward trend will continue in the new trading week following the Hangeul Day holiday.

▶ Biostep, Global, and Panzin Hit Upper Limit... Group Stocks Rally Together

HLB Biostep, which hit the ceiling, finished trading at 6,310 won, up 29.96% from the previous session. HLB Global closed at the upper limit, up 29.80% at 2,635 won, and HLB Panzin also finished at the ceiling, up 29.96% at 1,774 won.

The remaining group stocks also extended their gains. HLB Genex posted a double-digit gain, rising 12.64% to 2,450 won. HLB Therapeutics closed at 3,175 won, up 8.36%, and HLB Lifescience finished at 4,520 won, up 8.00%, while HLB PEP rose 4.60% to 5,220 won. HLB Pharmaceutical and HLB Innovation climbed 3.18% and 3.17%, closing at 12,970 won and 18,550 won, respectively.

Meanwhile, HLB rose just 0.10% to 45,950 won, with its gain limited compared to other group stocks.

▶ Key Points for the New Week: Whether Ceiling-Hitting Stocks Extend Gains and Profit-Taking Volatility

Although buying interest flowed into the group as a whole, the strength of the rallies varied by stock. With some stocks rising to their price limits, the key points to watch in the new week are whether the ceiling-hitting stocks continue to rise and the volatility stemming from profit-taking sell orders. HLB's moves, given its relatively small gain, are also drawing attention.

Separately, HLB recently announced that the European review process for its bile duct cancer drug 'Lirafugratinib' has begun.
