Singer Shin Jang-mi returns with deeper emotions and a fresh new image.

Shin Jang-mi will release her new digital single 'Hahoe (河回) - Where Longing Lingers' on October 17 at 12 p.m. through various online music platforms.

■ Taking on an 'Adult Ballad'... Love and Longing Captured in the Scenery of Hahoe Village

The new song 'Hahoe' is an 'adult ballad' that showcases a charm distinct from Shin Jang-mi's previous music. Set against the scenery of Hahoe Village, where the Nakdong River winds around the village, it lyrically expresses the emotions of love and longing sent flowing across the river.

The wistful Korean timbre of the daegeum (traditional bamboo flute) harmonizes with the grandly unfolding string sounds, adding depth to the track. The song begins with restrained emotion and gradually expands its emotional range toward the chorus, and combined with Shin Jang-mi's characteristically moving vocals, it is expected to leave a lasting impression.

■ Elegant and Refined Profile Photos... Raising Expectations for a New Musical Color

Shin Jang-mi's transformation is also evident in the new profile photos released alongside the single. Breaking away from her previous image, she presents an elegant yet refined atmosphere, heightening anticipation for the new musical color she will show through this song.

Shin Jang-mi previously won the EMN Rising Star Award in the adult music category at the 33rd Republic of Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards, earning recognition for her potential. She recently drew attention on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' with her powerful stage presence and distinctive vocals, gaining buzz with nicknames such as 'Microphone Earthquake' and '0.1-Second Bolt Upright.'

Having released 'Sweet as Can Be' this past May, Shin Jang-mi plans to launch full-fledged activities with 'Hahoe,' showcasing an even more mature musical color.

Meanwhile, Shin Jang-mi's new digital single 'Hahoe (河回) - Where Longing Lingers' will be available on October 17 at 12 p.m. through various online music platforms.
