EcoPro group stocks are plummeting across the board in the afternoon session on the 15th. The shockwaves from a violent swing in the Korean stock market—severe enough to trigger intraday circuit breakers on both the KOSPI and KOSDAQ, temporarily halting trading—are spreading throughout the group's affiliated stocks.

As of 1:48 p.m. on the 15th, EcoPro is trading at 81,000 won, down 7.95% from the previous day. EcoPro BM is recording 106,200 won, down 8.84%, posting the largest decline among the group's stocks.

EcoPro Materials is also trading at 32,650 won, down 7.50%, while EcoPro HN is trading at 22,850 won, down 5.77%. With all four major group stocks failing to escape weakness, selling pressure is spreading across the group's shares as a whole. In particular, EcoPro, EcoPro BM, and EcoPro Materials are each posting declines of more than 7%.

The Korean stock market is showing such a steep downturn today that it evokes the so-called 'Black Thursday.' As of 1:48 p.m., the KOSPI is at 5,590.21, down 418.60 points (6.96%) from the previous day, while the KOSDAQ is at 763.23, down 60.65 points (7.36%). The KOSPI has been pushed well below the 6,000 level, and the KOSDAQ has also given up the 800 level.

Stage-one circuit breakers were triggered at 12:23:13 p.m. in the KOSDAQ market and at 12:38:12 p.m. in the KOSPI market. With both indices falling sharply at the same time, pressure is mounting on the price movements of individual stocks as well.

With investment sentiment across the entire market significantly dampened, attention is focused on whether EcoPro group stocks can narrow their losses in the latter half of the session or whether the downward trend will continue.
