Yoshiki, a member of KO1KEYZ, took first place in the 'Best Position Match - Vocal' vote held on the global fandom platform UPICK.
The vote ran from October 2 to 14 to determine the best idol vocalist. With many global fans participating and fierce competition throughout, Yoshiki claimed the top spot, beating out senior K-pop artists including RiO of alphaTHEiVONE, Jay of ENHYPEN, JL of AHOF, and Lucky of LONGSHOT.
The winner will be awarded a large billboard advertisement at the Atrium of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, where a congratulatory video made by fans will also be screened on-site.
Yoshiki previously competed on the 2025 audition program 'Current King of Singers JAPAN,' reaching the semifinals. He is known as an artist whose exceptional vocal skills have been recognized since before his debut.
Meanwhile, KO1KEYZ released their debut single 'KO1KEYZ' on the 7th and is actively promoting in both Korea and Japan. On the first day of their debut, they recorded album sales of nearly 500,000 copies in Japan alone, topping both the Oricon Daily Single Ranking and Billboard Japan's 'Top Singles Sales' chart.
