KBS 1TV's flagship long-running audition program 'National Singing Contest' reaches viewers for its 46th year. The 2187th episode, airing every Sunday at 12:10 p.m., will be held in Buan County, North Jeolla Province, with a variety of performances and congratulatory stages set to unfold at a special outdoor stage at Buan Haedeulmaru.

Fifteen teams of contestants will take the main stage. The lineup spans generations, featuring performances such as a woman in her 40s singing 'Heung Arirang,' a dancing queen in her 40s performing 'Hwang Jin-i,' a ninth-grade duo singing 'Bang Bang Bang,' and a barber in his 70s performing 'Hongdo, Don't Cry.' Buan County residents will also join in with stages full of personality.

The congratulatory performance lineup is equally impressive. Shin Yu will open the show with 'Juliet,' followed by Lee Su-yeon with 'Nolabose,' Miss Kim with 'Yeopguri,' and Kang Moon-kyung with 'While My Eyes Are Open.'

Another highlight of this Buan County episode is the 'Ga-na Anchor (singer + announcer)' project. Announcers Park Chul-kyu and Eom Ji-in will take the stage as part of the project. Park Chul-kyu will perform his debut song 'You're the Best,' a gift from Shin Yu, together with 'Eom Young-ja,' the alter ego of announcer Eom Ji-in, while Eom Young-ja, leading the 'Ga-na Anchor Chul-kyu Project,' will participate in this stage as a featured performer.

The 2187th broadcast of 'National Singing Contest' will take place on October 18 in Buan County, North Jeolla Province.
