Miss Kim delivered a deeply moving moment with a special duet stage alongside an elderly man who overcame visual impairment on the KBS1 'National Singing Contest' episode featuring Buan County, Jeollabuk-do.

Appearing as invited singers on this broadcast alongside trot singer Miss Kim were Shin Yu, Lee Soo-yeon, and Kang Moon-kyung, who competed with the 15 teams that advanced to the finals. Miss Kim took the stage in a light purple mini dress, singing her hit song 'Yeopguri' and drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience.

The protagonist of this stage was an elderly contestant who lost his sight to diabetes complications five years ago and also underwent surgery for kidney cancer. With the help of a disability support worker, he practiced using only audio recordings without sheet music, and upon hearing that Miss Kim would appear as an invited singer, he reportedly practiced 'Yeopguri' day and night for three days.

On stage, the elderly man sang 'Yeopguri' to the very end together with Miss Kim, showing his triumph over adversity. Miss Kim guided the performance from beside him with encouraging interjections, while the disability support worker continued to assist by providing the lyrics from behind. Their stage left a profound impression on both the live audience and viewers.

MC Nam Hee-seok added laughter right after the performance, saying, "What good would it do to have ten Nam Hee-seoks? It's Miss Kim!" Miss Kim received praise for her sincere performance, conveying hope through song on this stage.
