Actor Jung Suk-yong left a lasting impression on viewers by perfectly portraying the powerful figure Kim Chang-soo in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Dr. X'.

In episodes 5 and 6 of 'Dr. X', aired on the 23rd and 24th, Jung Suk-yong took on the role of Kim Chang-soo, who actively wields influence within the hospital, vividly depicting an authoritarian character who pursues his own interests.

In the drama, Kim Chang-soo expressed satisfaction when Nae-il (played by Jang Seung-jo), whom he had brought to the hospital, gained a good reputation. He also sought to use Oh Sang-beom's (played by Ha Seong-kwang) surgery as an opportunity to expand his own position. Jung Suk-yong effectively conveyed Kim Chang-soo's shameless personality through his unreserved tone of speech and natural delivery of lines.

In particular, Jung Suk-yong's acting stood out in scenes where he confronted Gye Su-jeong (played by Kim Ji-won). When Kim Chang-soo visited Oh Sang-beom's hospital room and attempted to take photos, only to be suddenly stopped by Gye Su-jeong, Jung Suk-yong portrayed his flustered reaction with brazen finesse, adding to the drama's appeal. He delicately expressed Kim Chang-soo's emotional shifts, showing a composed attitude when pressuring others while becoming flustered in unexpected situations.

Through his brazen tone, expressions, and control of pacing in his lines, Jung Suk-yong naturally embodied Kim Chang-soo's authoritarian personality and momentary emotional changes. In doing so, he three-dimensionally realized a character with an irritating yet charming appeal, injecting vitality into the drama.

With this performance, Jung Suk-yong has been evaluated as showcasing his exceptional ability to embody characters and his seasoned acting expertise in 'Dr. X'.
