[Reporter Park Jong-gyu] The Korea Consumer Agency ranked first overall in the analysis results of the 'June 2026 Public Safety Institution Brand Reputation' announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute. The Korea Road Traffic Authority and the Public Officials Pension Service followed.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed a total of 21,521,094 big data points targeting 13 public institution brands related to public safety from May 1 to June 1, 2026. This is a 3.81% increase compared to the 20,731,152 points recorded in the previous month. The brand reputation index was calculated by combining the participation index, media index, communication index, community index, and social contribution index.

In the subsequent rankings, the Korea Elevator Safety Agency recorded 4th place with a brand reputation index of 1,321,205 points, and the Korea Foundation recorded 5th place with 710,519 points. The indices of the two institutions decreased by 2.43% and 28.55%, respectively, compared to the previous month.

From 6th to 13th place, the rankings were recorded in the following order: Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), May 18 Memorial Foundation, Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency, Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Support Association, North Korean Refugees Foundation, Foundation for Victims of Forced Mobilization by Imperial Japan, and Korea Origin Information Agency.

Koo Chang-hwan, Director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, "As a result of the big data analysis of the June 2026 public safety institution brand reputation, the Korea Consumer Agency ranked first," and added, "The scale of big data in the public safety institution brand category increased by 3.81% compared to the previous month."

Director Koo continued, "Specifically, brand consumption increased by 7.08%, brand diffusion by 40.04%, and brand contribution by 50.80%, whereas brand issues decreased by 15.53% and brand communication decreased by 4.76%."
