As the 'July 2026 National Joint Academic Evaluation for High School Seniors,' hosted by the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education, was administered on the 8th, there is growing interest in the perceived difficulty level among the students who took the exam.

According to a perceived difficulty survey currently being conducted by the Educational Broadcasting System Internet (EBSi), as of today, 874 participants responded, with 84.8% of all respondents evaluating this exam as 'difficult.' Looking at the specific responses, 'very difficult' accounted for the highest proportion at 48.3%, followed by 'slightly difficult' at 35.9%.

In contrast, only 11.7% said the exam was 'average.' Furthermore, only a very small number of students responded that it was 'slightly easy' (0.9%) or 'very easy' (3.2%). (※ This survey is a real-time poll being conducted immediately after the exam, and response rates may change as the number of participants increases in the future.)

This July academic evaluation holds great significance for students as it is the last national-level mock exam before the summer vacation. Accordingly, experts are advising that students should not simply stop at checking their scores and grades, but rather use it as an opportunity to objectively assess their current standing and reorganize their study strategies for the remaining period leading up to the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
