On the afternoon of the 14th, a heavy rain advisory was issued for parts of Gyeonggi Province and Incheon, prompting the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to urge citizens to exercise extra caution on their way home from work.

At 5:06 p.m. on the same day, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety sent an emergency disaster alert notifying the public that a heavy rain advisory would go into effect starting at 6 p.m.

The ministry emphasized avoiding entry into hazardous areas such as walking paths along rivers, valleys, steep slopes, and agricultural waterways, and urged the public to prepare for potential river flooding. In particular, it asked people to avoid approaching areas at risk of inundation and to stay alert for safety.

The areas where the disaster alerts were sent are as follows.

▲ Gyeonggi Province: Gimpo-si, Siheung-si, Pyeongtaek-si, Sangnok-gu and Danwon-gu in Ansan-si, Manse-gu, Hyohaeng-gu, Byeongjeom-gu, and Dongtan-gu in Hwaseong-si ▲ Incheon: Ganghwa-gun, Gyeyang-gu, Michuhol-gu, Namdong-gu, Jemulpo-gu, Bupyeong-gu, Seohae-gu, Yeonsu-gu, Ongjin-gun, and Yeongjong-gu
