Global boy group AEN has released a behind-the-scenes video documenting the preparation process for their first greeting showcase in Japan, drawing fans' attention.

According to their agency, AEN uploaded a behind-the-scenes video titled 'The Mysterious AEN That Appeared in the Practice Room' on their official YouTube channel on the 15th. The video naturally captures the members' preparation process ahead of their greeting showcase 'AEN Greeting Showcase "First Encounter"' held on the 27th of last month at Tokyo SGC Hall Ariake.

In particular, since this stage marked their first meeting with approximately 3,000 local fans, the members' excitement was vividly conveyed throughout the video. Right up until the moment before taking the stage, they meticulously checked choreography formations and details, demonstrating extraordinary passion. They also taught each other Korean and Japanese to prepare for communication and interacted with fans in advance through a live broadcast on the global fan platform Berriz.

Leader Jiyong shared his overwhelmed feelings, saying, 'Seeing things come together one by one makes it feel real that we're going to meet our fans.'

The members, who participated in Starship's global project 'Debut's Plan' last year and gained practical experience, reflected on that time and expressed their special affection for this showcase. As a group composed of Korean and Japanese members, their heartwarming teamwork — such as learning each other's languages and taking on trending challenges — also caught viewers' attention. Their friendly and authentic sides, contrasting with their charismatic presence on stage, are receiving enthusiastic responses from global fans.

Meanwhile, AEN — a joint project between Starship Entertainment and Japan's Amuse — embodies the meaning of 'a new era that redefines this very moment' along with the Japanese word for 'eternity (永遠).' Generating high expectations as a next-generation global boy group, AEN will release their first mini album 'A NEW ERA OF NOW' on August 5th and kick off their full-scale debut activities.
