MBC Plus drama 'My Idol, My Debut' concluded on July 24, 2026, leaving behind its original worldview that traversed between fantasy and reality as well as enthusiastic responses from abroad.

The series depicted the intersecting paths of fan Choe Aeni (Hwang Jia), who travels back in time to 2018 to prevent a tragedy in 2026, and Han Jaeha (Ji Changmin), the leader of boy group 'Boy to the Moon,' along with a survival competition within their agency. In the final episode, a twist unfolded in which Han Jaeha returns to the past to protect Aeni and saves trainee Seonghun through music, breaking the chain of tragedy. The series finale concluded with the two leads sharing their first kiss.

The in-show girl group 'IRION' also drew significant attention. Combining Aeni's growth narrative with the members' short-form memes, IRION wrote a reverse-climb myth, reaching No. 1 on both the in-drama music charts and music shows.

The popularity continued in reality as well. The series recorded No. 1 in the Hallyu and Asian category on Japan's major OTT platform Lemino, drawing passionate interest from overseas fans.
