KBS 2TV's weekend miniseries 'My Perfect Marriage' will enter its full-fledged second act starting from episode 7, which airs on the 25th, heralding a shocking development.

In episode 7, Kang Tae-joo, played by Namgoong Min, is depicted being urgently arrested by the police on kidnapping charges immediately after surgery. The sight of Kang Tae-joo being led away in surgical clothes and handcuffs, interspersed with the image of his wife Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol) watching silently with wounds on her face, maximizes the tension. In particular, the meaningful gaze Kang Tae-joo casts through the detention cell bars reflects the complex emotions entangled between the two, capturing viewers' attention.

Previously, in episode 6, Kang Tae-joo found the home of kidnapper Noh Man-hee (played by Kim Da-myung) and rescued his wife Go Se-yoon, but was counterattacked by Noh Man-hee while fleeing, leading to a dramatic conclusion. That episode recorded a peak viewership rating of 8.8% per minute and 6.7% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea), demonstrating its strength by ranking first among all terrestrial channels in the same time slot.

In this detention cell scene, Namgoong Min delves deeply into the character's inner world using only his facial expressions and gaze, without any dialogue. With restrained acting, he meticulously portrays Kang Tae-joo's complex psychological state, overwhelming the atmosphere on set.
