Jusung Engineering successfully returned to operating profit on a consolidated basis in the second quarter of 2026, shaking off the deficit from the previous quarter. However, both revenue and operating profit declined compared to the same period last year.

According to Jusung Engineering on the 29th, consolidated preliminary revenue for the second quarter (April–June) of 2026 was tallied at KRW 59.882 billion. This represents a 9.1% increase from the previous quarter (KRW 54.879 billion), but a 24.0% decrease compared to the same period last year (KRW 78.792 billion).

Operating profit stood at KRW 1.423 billion, returning to the black from a loss of KRW 7.031 billion in the previous quarter. However, this figure is down 78.4% compared to the operating profit of KRW 6.575 billion posted in the same period last year.

Profit before income tax from continuing operations was KRW 4.683 billion, turning around from a loss of KRW 1.389 billion in the previous quarter and increasing 109.2% year-on-year. Net income for the period also returned to profit at KRW 5.501 billion, compared to a loss of KRW 1.191 billion in the previous quarter, up 9.1% from the same period last year. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was also recorded at the same KRW 5.501 billion.

On an accumulated basis for the first half of this year, revenue stood at KRW 114.761 billion, operating loss at KRW 5.608 billion, profit before income tax from continuing operations at KRW 3.294 billion, and net income at KRW 4.31 billion. Cumulative first-half revenue decreased 42.5% year-on-year, operating profit turned from profit to loss, and cumulative net income for the period also fell 86.8% compared to the same period last year.

By business segment, cumulative first-half revenue was KRW 112.574 billion for semiconductors and KRW 2.187 billion for solar and display.

The company stated, "These results are consolidated preliminary business performance prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), and as they are estimates that have not yet been reviewed by an external auditor, there may be differences from the finalized results in the future."
