On Channel A's 'Baseball Queen 2,' the Black Queens defeated Hammerstorm 14-9, racing to their second consecutive win.

Through the top of the fourth inning, the Black Queens held a narrow 6-9 lead. In the bottom of the fourth, Shin So-jung scored on Kim On-ah's hit to add another run, and Park Ha-yan kept the scoring chance alive with a single, but Ayaka's grounder was stopped by the defense, ending the inning.

In the top of the fifth, Song Ah took the mound and induced a double play attempt, but the opposing runner advanced, allowing a one-out, runner-on-third situation. However, Kim On-ah and Park Ha-yan calmly handled infield grounders to close the inning without conceding a run.

Riding the momentum, the Black Queens erupted in the bottom of the fifth. Joo Soo-jin reached base on a hit-by-pitch, and Lee Soo-yun's double created a no-out, runners-on-second-and-third opportunity. Song Ah then blasted a three-run home run to extend the lead to 13-6. Consecutive hits by Shin So-jung, Choi Hye-bin, and Kim On-ah, followed by a walk drawn by Park Ha-yan, pushed the score to 14-6.

In the top of the sixth, Song Ah allowed a hit-by-pitch and then recorded one strikeout, but a throwing error by catcher Shin So-jung and a fielding mistake by center fielder Kim Min-ji led to one run conceded. When Hammerstorm closed the gap to 9-14, Manager Choo Shin-soo brought in Kim On-ah as the closing pitcher. Kim On-ah struggled with her control but struck out the final batter to end the game.

The game's MVP honors went to Song Ah, who went 2-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs while also pitching 2.1 innings. After the game, Manager Choo Shin-soo shared his thoughts, saying, "I think I aged three years today."

In the subsequent third game against Big Sighting, the Black Queens took a 1-0 lead through the bottom of the second inning. In the top of the first, Park Ha-yan made a diving defensive play to escape a jam, and in the bottom of the first, Lee Soo-yun sprinted home on Song Ah's at-bat to score the opening run. In the top of the second, after Kim On-ah recorded a strikeout, Kim Sung-yeon recorded consecutive outs, showing noticeable growth. Kim Sung-yeon said, "As a third baseman, I earned my keep. It was the happiest moment I've had doing 'Baseball Queen.'"

Meanwhile, Park Min-seo did not appear in the game due to muscle strain. Against Big Sighting, the team that handed them their first loss of the season, the Black Queens deployed a new battery and made changes to the lineup.

'Baseball Queen 2' also proved its popularity. On the Fundex chart for the fourth week of July, it ranked third in TV non-drama buzz and fifth in TV-OTT non-drama buzz. The buzz score increased by 26.09% compared to the previous week, setting a new personal record for three consecutive weeks. Additionally, it ranked fourth in TV-OTT non-drama search responses, while Park Min-seo placed second in the cast member buzz category and first in both the 50-and-over and male interest segments.

The result of the third game between the Black Queens and Big Sighting will be revealed on the August 6 episode of Channel A's 'Baseball Queen 2,' airing at 10 p.m.
