KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage' is showing an unstoppable upward trend.

Following a record-breaking viewership rating of 9.2% during its 8th episode, the upcoming episodes 9 and 10 will reveal unpredictable twists and the hidden suspicions of key characters.

■ Episode 8: A Series of Shocks… Kidnapping, Attempted Murder, and Discovery of a Body

Episode 8 depicted Kang Tae-ju (played by Namgoong Min) tracing the connection between his father-in-law Ko Dong-chan's (played by Jang Gwang) illegal fetal stem cell project and the kidnapping of his wife Ko Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol).

Kang Tae-ju attempted to kill kidnapper Kim Kyung-ae (played by Lee Sang-hee) but was shocked to discover the already deceased body of Ha Jung-soo (played by Jeon Kwang-jin). A scene was also shown where Kang Tae-ju followed Ko Dong-chan down to the underground parking garage and witnessed Ha Jung-soo lying collapsed next to a vial of potassium chloride and a syringe.

Kim Kyung-ae revealed just before surgery that she was aware of Ko Dong-chan's illegal project, and circumstances also confirmed that Ha Jung-soo had attempted to murder the unconscious Kim Kyung-ae using potassium chloride.

■ Preview of Episodes 9 & 10… A Study in Darkness, Kim Kyung-ae Regains Consciousness

The released preview stills for episodes 9 and 10 contain tension-filled scenes. They include Kang Tae-ju heading to Uri Together Hospital alongside team leader Jang Do-sik (played by Lee Seok), Ko Se-yoon searching through documents in Ko Dong-chan's study without turning on the lights, and Kim Kyung-ae making a startled expression after regaining consciousness. In particular, Ko Se-yoon was also seen exiting the study while casting a suspicious glance back toward it.

The production team stated that the full details of Ko Se-yoon's kidnapping and the intertwined relationships among Kim Kyung-ae, Ko Dong-chan, and Ha Jung-soo will be revealed one by one in episodes 9 and 10. They added, 'We are confident that you will be able to savor the essence of a crime thriller through a narrative filled with continuous suspicion and twists.'

They further noted that a new phase will unfold centered on Kang Tae-ju, who pursues the truth following Ha Jung-soo's death, Ko Se-yoon, who is searching for something, and Kim Kyung-ae, who narrowly escaped death.

Meanwhile, 'The Completion of Marriage' was produced with support from the Broadcasting Communications Development Fund of the Korea Communications Commission, and episode 9 will air on August 1 at 9:20 PM.
