Actor Cha In-pyo (born in 1967) candidly spoke about his special bond with his wife, Shin Ae-ra.

Cha In-pyo married Shin Ae-ra in 1995 and is the father of one son and two daughters. He recently published the novel "Our Neighborhood Library" and has been expanding his horizons by taking the stage in the play "Dead Poets Society." Shin Ae-ra runs the YouTube channel "Shinaelife," which has approximately 250,000 subscribers.

Cha In-pyo described himself as "someone who is not bound by convention and enjoys new challenges." After leaving a corporate job to pursue acting, he expanded his reach to become a novelist, and for the first time in his 33-year career, he took the theater stage. He revealed that he initially hesitated about appearing in the play but found courage through encouragement from Shin Ae-ra and his mother. He said that performing on stage alongside rookie actors, it was actually thanks to the younger actors that he was able to debut as a theater actor.

When the topic of family came up, Cha In-pyo became emotional as he recalled the moment he first met his daughter, Ye-eun. It was Shin Ae-ra who first suggested adoption. The most difficult time in his life was parting with his younger brother in 2013. At the time, Cha In-pyo was hosting the SBS talk show "Thank You," but he stepped down from the program to be by his brother's side as he battled oral cancer. His brother passed away after about six months of battling the disease.

Cha In-pyo confided, "I didn't even have the luxury to feel the grief of losing my brother." He had to first take care of his parents who lost a son, his niece and nephew who lost a father, and his sister-in-law who lost her husband.
