K-pop representative group BigBang is making a comeback with their new song 'BiiiG' in celebration of their 20th debut anniversary.

YG Entertainment revealed the title poster for 'BIGBANG Digital Single [BiiiG]' through its official blog on August 10, officially announcing that the new single [BiiiG] will be released on August 19 at 6 PM.

This new song marks the group's first new release in approximately 4 years and 4 months, since 'Still Life' in April 2022. At the time, the track topped major domestic and international music charts without any separate broadcast promotions and went on to win the Digital Song Bonsang at the 37th Golden Disc Awards.

Three Lights and Silhouettes... Identity Inspired by 'BIG'

The previously shrouded title 'BiiiG' was revealed for the first time through this poster. Against a dark background, three lights — blue, red, and yellow — spread out, with the silhouettes of the members beneath them.

The title 'BiiiG' is inspired by 'BIG,' meaning 'large' or 'huge,' naturally connecting to the team name BigBang's identity. The stylized spelling, which puts BigBang's unique spin on a familiar word, stands out.

YG stated, "'BiiiG' is the song that most clearly captures BigBang's present as they celebrate their 20th debut anniversary," adding, "It is safe to look forward to another musical spectrum that BigBang, who have built their own unparalleled musical world over a long period of time, will showcase."

20th Anniversary World Tour 'XX: COSMOS' to Run Simultaneously

Alongside the release of the new song, BigBang will kick off their 20th debut anniversary world tour, 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR [XX: COSMOS].' The tour will begin with a performance in Goyang on August 21 and is scheduled to hold a total of 33 shows across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, with additional performance locations to be revealed sequentially.

Meanwhile, since debuting in 2006, BigBang has left behind numerous hit songs including 'Lies,' 'Last Farewell,' 'Haru Haru,' 'FANTASTIC BABY,' 'LOSER,' 'BANG BANG BANG,' and 'BAE BAE,' building global influence across music, fashion, and performance.
