"Love's Heartsping: The Legend of the Whale Jewel" continues its successful run, maintaining the top spot at the Korean box office for five consecutive days since its release.

According to the Korean Film Council's box office tracking system on the 10th, "Love's Heartsping: The Legend of the Whale Jewel" drew 123,565 viewers the previous day, surpassing "Hope" (32,227 viewers) to rank first among Korean films. With a cumulative audience of 433,808, the film proved its staying power by becoming the only domestic film to surpass 100,000 viewers, even as foreign films "Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" continue their strong runs. The previous installment, "Love's Heartsping," attracted 1.24 million viewers, ranking in the top 3 of all-time Korean animation box office records. This new film depicts the miraculous adventure of Romi and Heartsping as they set out to find Romi's mother, who disappeared into the sea. With a larger scale than its predecessor and the theme of "the love between a mother and daughter," the film captures Romi's growth in a touching way.

Audience response has also been enthusiastic.
