Seventeen members Seungkwan and Dino will enlist as military band members this October. Mingyu will also begin his alternative service in September.

Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced the members' military service schedules on the 10th via the fan community platform Weverse. This news comes after all Seventeen members renewed their contracts with the agency on the 13th, demonstrating their strong trust. Currently, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi are fulfilling their military duties, while Jeonghan was recently discharged.

According to the announcement, Seungkwan and Dino will enlist together as Army military band members on October 26. Mingyu will begin his alternative service schedule on September 10. All three members plan to participate in Seventeen's scheduled official activities without any changes until their service begins.

The agency strongly urged fans to refrain from visiting the entrance ceremony and workplace. Pledis stated that there will be no separate official event on the day of entering the training camp, and asked fans to avoid visiting the site for safety and order, as many soldiers and their families will be gathered there. They also requested that fans refrain from visiting Mingyu's alternative service workplace.

Once their service begins, the three members will have difficulty participating in official schedules, but they plan to continue meeting fans through various content prepared in advance.

Pledis Entertainment said, "We ask Carat (the official fandom name) for their unwavering support and love so that the members can faithfully fulfill their military duties and return in good health," guiding fans to leave messages of encouragement and farewell through Weverse instead of visiting in person. They also expressed their commitment to continuing their support for the artists.
