LG Innotek (011070) ended the regular trading session on the 21st on a weak note, wrapping up four consecutive sessions of decline. After recently recovering the 700,000-won level intraday, the stock price has fallen back to the mid-550,000-won range, and attention is now focused on whether the company can lay the groundwork for a rebound in the new trading week starting on the 24th.

■ Daily Drop Exceeds 6%... Closes at 550,000 Won

LG Innotek finished trading on the KRX regular session on the 21st at 550,000 won, down 37,000 won (6.30%) from the previous trading day. The daily decline topped 6%, extending the recent correction trend.

The drop is especially notable when compared with the stock's recent peak. On the 18th, LG Innotek rose as high as 710,000 won intraday, surpassing the 700,000-won level. On an intraday basis, it was the first time the stock reclaimed the 700,000-won level since July 13.

However, the stock failed to sustain its upward momentum. It fell for four consecutive sessions from the 18th through the 21st, with the closing price on the 21st dropping to 550,000 won. Compared with the intraday high on the 18th, the stock has retraced a substantial portion of its gains in just a few days.

■ Attention Focuses on Whether the Stock Will Rebound in the New Week

As a result, whether buying interest will flow in around the mid-550,000-won range in the new trading week has emerged as a key point of interest. It remains to be seen whether the stock will recover some of its losses from the recent string of short-term declines, or whether the recent correction will continue further.

All eyes are on whether LG Innotek, in the new trading week beginning on the 24th, will put an end to its four-day losing streak and rebound, or whether it will continue its recent high volatility.
