Virtual boy group PLAVE took the stage as a headliner of the global music festival 'YouTube Music Weekend 12.0,' captivating viewers around the world.
At the performance held on the 21st under the theme 'PLAVE WAVE FESTIVAL,' PLAVE recorded the highest number of concurrent viewers among a total of 113 participating artists, proving its overwhelming global popularity.
On this day, PLAVE opened strongly with 'Born Savage,' followed by performances of 'Kakurenbo,' the title track of their Japanese debut single, as well as b-side tracks. In particular, they presented a rich visual experience with back-to-back performances of hit songs including 'The Sixth Summer,' 'WAY 4 LUV,' and 'Dash,' accompanied by diverse costume changes ranging from casual wear and uniforms to all-black outfits and school uniforms.
The fun continued off stage as well. A 'Fan Recruitment PR' corner offering a glimpse into each member's personality and a corner recreating famous Japanese movie lines provided fans with fresh entertainment. Additionally, after a cover stage of Japanese group M!LK's 'Sukisugite Motsu!,' the group closed the show warmly with 'I Think So,' leaving a lasting impression.
At the end of the performance, upcoming activity plans were also announced. PLAVE raised anticipation for future activities, announcing that they will hold their debut world tour 'KEEP IT MAINC,' beginning with concerts at the main stadium of Incheon Munhak Stadium on September 12 and 13, followed by shows at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan, on September 26 and 27.
