Vinatech announced on the 19th that it has signed a supply contract for supercapacitors for data centers. The contract amount is 123,010,501,824 won (approximately 123 billion won), equivalent to 149.60% of the company's most recent revenue of 82,228,905,359 won based on its 2025 consolidated financial statements. This contract is not a conditional contract.
The counterparty is ACBEL POLYTECH INC., a Taiwanese manufacturer specializing in power supply devices. Vinatech stated that it has fulfilled similar contracts with the company over the past three years. The sales and supply region is Taiwan, and the contract period runs from October 16, 2026 to February 1, 2028. No down payment or advance payment is involved, and the supply method is listed as outsourced production. The company explained that outsourced production means production through an overseas subsidiary.
The contract amount was calculated by multiplying the purchase quantity stated in the purchase order (PO) by the unit price, amounting to 91,634,760 U.S. dollars, which was converted into Korean won. The conversion used the initial quoted exchange rate of 1,342.40 won per dollar from the Seoul Foreign Exchange Brokers Association on October 19, 2026. The contract date of October 16 refers to the date the purchase order was received.
Meanwhile, the Korea Exchange announced that trading of Vinatech common shares would be suspended from 2:43 p.m. until market close on the same day due to a single sales and supply contract. The trading suspension is based on Article 37 of the KOSDAQ Market Disclosure Regulations and Article 18 of the Enforcement Rules thereof. Under Article 26 of the Enforcement Rules of the KOSDAQ Market Business Regulations, pre-market after-hours trading cannot be executed before the resumption of trading.
