Amid a sharp decline in the domestic stock market, cable-related stocks are also showing weakness across the board. As of 1:12 p.m. on the 20th, LS Eco Energy has plunged more than 14%, with major names including Gaon Cable, Taihan Cable, and LS Marine Solution all trading lower in tandem.

■ LS Eco Energy Posts Biggest Drop, Falling Below the 50,000-Won Level

The stock with the largest decline among cable shares today is LS Eco Energy. LS Eco Energy is trading at 49,650 won, down 8,250 won (-14.25%) from the previous session, slipping below the 50,000-won mark.

Gaon Cable is trading at 233,000 won, down 21,500 won (-8.45%). LS Marine Solution is down 2,400 won (-7.83%) at 28,250 won, and Iljin Electric is trading 5,000 won (-7.62%) lower at 60,600 won.

KBI Metal is down 315 won (-6.49%) at 4,535 won, while Taihan Cable is trading 1,450 won (-6.09%) lower than the previous day at 22,350 won. LS is trading at 219,000 won, down 13,000 won (-5.60%).

Daewon Cable is also unable to escape the downward trend. As of the same time, Daewon Cable is down 340 won (-3.13%) from the previous session at 10,520 won.

■ KOSPI Plunges Over 4%... Both Indices Decline Together

The broad decline in cable stocks comes in line with the weak trend in the domestic stock market. At the same time, the KOSPI is down 234.96 points (-4.07%) from the previous day at 5,533.05, while the KOSDAQ has fallen 24.87 points (-3.07%) to 784.02.

With both indices declining together, cable-related stocks have also been unable to avoid selling pressure. In particular, some stocks have posted double-digit losses, drawing attention to share price movements in the latter half of the session.
