Nara Space Technology has been selected as the preferred bidder for the Korea Water Resources Corporation's 'K-waterSAT Water Resource Micro Cluster Satellite Development Project.'
The company announced through a regulatory filing on the 26th that it had confirmed its selection as the preferred bidder for the project publicly tendered by the Korea Water Resources Corporation.
The bid amount for this project is 10,112,272,727 won, excluding value-added tax. This is equivalent to 76.39% of Nara Space Technology's revenue for the most recent fiscal year (13,236,859,805 won, based on the consolidated financial statements as of the end of 2025).
Both the demand agency and the announcing agency for the project are the Korea Water Resources Corporation, and the delivery deadline stated in the filing is 1,200 days from the contract date.
However, this selection as the preferred bidder does not signify the conclusion of a final contract. The company explained that the disclosed bid amount is its own bid amount, and whether the final contract is signed and the contract amount will be determined by the outcome of future negotiations.
Nara Space Technology plans to make a disclosure on the conclusion of a single sales and supply agreement if the contract is signed in the future. It also added that the relevant details could change during the contracting process.
