VT announced through a regulatory filing on the 26th that it has decided to acquire land and a building located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, for 79 billion won in order to purchase a headquarters building in line with revenue growth and business expansion.

The acquisition targets are land of 1,154.70㎡ and a building of 10,689.51㎡ located at 273-55, Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The acquisition price of 79 billion won accounts for 22.35% of VT's total assets of 353,501,351,205 won based on its consolidated financial statements at the end of the most recent fiscal year. The amount is the purchase price stated in the sales contract and does not include other acquisition-related expenses such as taxes and public dues and fees.

The company explained that the purpose of the asset acquisition is to purchase a headquarters building in line with revenue growth and business expansion. It cited expected benefits including savings on lease costs and improved work efficiency through securing a long-term business foundation.

The counterparties are Kim Jae-ho and three others. The contract date is October 26, 2026, and both the acquisition reference date and the scheduled registration date are December 24 of the same year. The transaction price will be paid in cash, with a down payment of 15.8 billion won on the contract date of October 26 and the remaining balance of 63.2 billion won scheduled to be paid on December 24.

The funds will be raised through cash on hand and borrowings from financial institutions. However, the company stated that the schedule for paying the balance may be adjusted through consultation with the counterparties depending on the timing of approval for the project financing (PF) loan it is pursuing.

Regarding the asset acquisition, accounting firm Rian conducted an external evaluation from October 23 to 26, 2026, and presented 'appropriate' as its evaluation opinion. VT added that the acquisition schedule and the timing of the transaction price payment may change depending on consultations with the counterparties.
