Genexine announced on the 26th via a regulatory filing that it has withdrawn its decision to issue a third-party allotment capital increase (small-scale public offering) worth approximately 3 billion won. The withdrawal was due to the allotment recipient, Korea Quantum AI, failing to pay the subscription funds by the payment deadline.
Genexine had decided on the 16th, through a board resolution, to conduct a third-party allotment capital increase issuing 1,250,005 shares of common stock. The planned issue amount was 2,999,949,500 won, with a new share issue price of 2,399 won per share. The allotment recipient was Korea Quantum AI, which was allocated 1,250,005 shares, and the company had planned to use the funds raised through this capital increase as operating capital.
There was no issue with the procedure itself. According to Genexine, Korea Quantum AI completed its subscription for new shares normally on the subscription date of the 20th. However, it failed to pay the full subscription amount by the close of banking hours on the 26th, the payment deadline, and notified the company that the final payment would not be possible.
Accordingly, Genexine withdrew its decision to issue the capital increase, which had originally scheduled the 26th as the payment date. According to the filing, the date of the decision to withdraw the capital increase was October 26, 2026.
