Data Solution announced in a regulatory filing on the 7th that it has signed a supply contract for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure worth 438.1 billion KRW with Samsung SDS. This large-scale, long-term contract far exceeds 420% of the company's recent revenue and includes the supply of core AI equipment such as GPU servers.

Key Details of the Contract This contract was pursued as part of the 'Project to Strengthen the Foundation for Utilizing AI Computing Resources.' The specific contract amount totals 438,141,388,000 KRW (excluding VAT). This figure represents a staggering 422.04% of Data Solution's recent standalone revenue for 2025 (103,815,910,000 KRW).

The counterparty to the contract is Samsung SDS, and the hardware (HW), software (SW), and services for implementation will be supplied to the Samsung SDS Dongtan Data Center. The contract period runs from July 7, 2026, to December 31, 2031, making it a long-term project spanning approximately five and a half years. Payment terms consist of a 50% advance payment and a 50% balance, and the transaction will be carried out through the sale and installation of foreign products.

Business Background and Accounting Recognition Data Solution explained that this project is organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), an agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. The structure involves supplying goods to NIPA through Samsung SDS, a cloud service provider (CSP) partner.

Additionally, the company stated, "Of the contract amount, the revenue reflected in the financial statements may be recognized on a net basis excluding the purchase price (K-IFRS), depending on the results of the external audit."

Exchange's Trading Suspension Measure Meanwhile, the Korea Exchange suspended trading of Data Solution common shares from 5:51 p.m. on the 7th until market close, in accordance with KOSDAQ market disclosure regulations, in relation to the single sale and supply contract filing.
