Hyundai Motor will dispose of approximately 1.1 billion won worth of treasury shares to recruit outstanding talent and reward key executives.

According to a regulatory filing by Hyundai Motor on the 23rd, the company plans to dispose of 2,747 common shares at 418,000 won per share on the 31st. The total disposal amount comes to 1,148,246,000 won. These shares will be delivered directly into the executives' securities accounts.

The disposal targets are three key executives of the company. Specifically, Executive Kim Hye-in will be allocated 1,878 shares, Executive Pete Jolly 700 shares, and Executive Philippe Guerin-Bouteau 169 shares.

Hyundai Motor stated that it decided on this stock compensation with the aim of recruiting outstanding executives and retaining talent with critical skills. This disposal of treasury shares is in accordance with a plan to acquire and dispose of treasury shares approved at the regular shareholders' meeting held on March 26, 2026. However, the actual number of shares disposed of and the total amount may partially vary depending on the stock price as of the disposal date.

As of the filing date, Hyundai Motor currently holds 2,341,700 common shares and 1,214,332 other shares as treasury stock. The size of this disposal accounts for approximately 0.001% of the total issued common shares, and the company projected that the dilution effect on share value will be limited.
