Tak Jae-hoon spent a bittersweet day on his 59th birthday, facing a series of misfortunes including stock losses and the cancellation of a show he appeared on.

Born in 1968, Tak Jae-hoon celebrated his last birthday before turning 60. The March 9 episode of SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' featured the morning of his final birthday in his 50s.

Waking up in bed that day, Tak Jae-hoon received a phone call from his manager saying, "Happy last birthday before you turn 60." The manager added, "I hope you do a lot of things you want to do before turning 60 and have a happy day," but Tak Jae-hoon responded in his trademark humorous way, saying, "Shut up. I'm hanging up."

Starting his morning, he looked for bottled water in the refrigerator but ended up drinking tap water instead. He then checked his stock account and, seeing a return rate of -37%, sighed and said, "It doesn't work out. With stocks..." Watching this in the studio, Seo Jang-hoon commented, "When is his stock going to go up?" and Park Kyung-lim also expressed sympathy, saying, "It's in the blue on his birthday."

Before the sting of his stock losses could fade, Tak Jae-hoon's phone received an overseas card payment notification. He said, "$210? Where is this? The kids must have charged something," immediately sensing it was spending by his children who are studying abroad. Facing the consecutive expenses, Tak Jae-hoon gave a bitter smile and said, "Everything is in the minus. What kind of birthday is this?"

To make matters worse, news arrived that the variety show 'No, But Seriously!' on which he had been appearing was ending. Hearing the cancellation news directly from the show's CP, Tak Jae-hoon expressed his disappointment, saying, "Why are you telling me this news now? Is this a birthday present?"

However, his colleagues Kim Joon-ho and Shin Gyu-jin visited his home to celebrate his birthday together, turning the gloomy atmosphere around. Thanks to the time spent with the two, Tak Jae-hoon was able to find laughter on what had been a depressing day.

Tak Jae-hoon is currently active across various variety programs, including 'My Ugly Duckling.'
