BQ AI announced in a regulatory filing on the 22nd that it has signed an MCP contract for the supply of AI RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) content.

The confirmed contract value is 2,130,500,000 won (excluding value-added tax). This is equivalent to 12.52% of the company's recent revenue of 17,014,562,225 won.

The contract counterparty was listed in the filing as a 'major IT platform company.' At the counterparty's request and due to the need to protect business secrets, the key terms of the contract were not disclosed, with the disclosure exemption period set until August 31, 2029.

The region of sale and supply is South Korea, and the contract period runs from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2029. However, the contract end date may be changed by mutual agreement between the two companies.

Regarding payment conditions, there is no down payment or advance payment; 89% of the contract value will be paid in monthly installments after delivery during the contract period, while the remaining 11% will be paid in a lump sum in advance. The supply method is in-house production.

The contract value was calculated by combining the amount for providing a portion of the content held by BQ AI and the cost of API development and operation. If the scope of content provision changes after the contract is signed, the amount will be adjusted according to the rate of change.

The company stated that it will immediately re-disclose if any changes to the contract terms occur.
