LS Electric announced that it will raise 76.109 billion won in facility funds through a paid-in capital increase for its U.S. subsidiary, LS ELECTRIC Utah Inc. (the Utah corporation). The move is aimed at responding to North American power equipment demand driven by growth in the AI (artificial intelligence) and data center markets, and at expanding the Utah subsidiary's local production capacity.

According to the regulatory filing, the paid-in capital increase will proceed as a capital contribution without the issuance of new shares. As a result, details related to the issuance of new shares, such as the number of shares, issue price, and the method of calculating the issue price, were not stated in the filing.

LS ELECTRIC Americas Holdings, which holds a 100% stake in the Utah corporation, will participate in the capital increase, and there will be no change in the shareholding ratio before and after the increase.

The facility funds amount to 76.109 billion won, converted from 55 million U.S. dollars. The applied exchange rate is 1,383.80 won per dollar, based on Hana Bank's first announced standard exchange rate on the date of the subsidiary's board resolution.

According to the schedule, the subsidiary's board resolution date is September 21, 2026. The final deadline for payment of the capital increase is December 31, 2026, with the funds to be paid in installments during 2026.

The Utah corporation's main business is manufacturing electrical equipment. Based on its financial statements at the end of 2025, its total assets stand at 36.71489 billion won, or 0.74% of LS Electric's consolidated total assets of 4.95668032 trillion won.
