According to the Korea Exchange on the 22nd, Sammi Metal's sidecar VI was triggered at 10:58:57 a.m. that day and lifted at 11:01:18 a.m.

As of 11:20 a.m., Sammi Metal was trading at 13,220 won on the KOSDAQ market, up 2,100 won (18.88%) from the previous trading day. The broader market was also trending higher. At the same time, the KOSDAQ index stood at 842.59, up 6.32 points (0.75%) from the previous session.

The VI is a system designed to cool market overheating by switching to single-price trading for two minutes when an individual stock's price fluctuates sharply beyond a certain range.
