Pungjeon Pharmaceutical is pursuing a 30 billion won third-party allotment capital increase to secure operating funds.

According to a regulatory filing on the 26th, Pungjeon Pharmaceutical will issue 1.2 million new common shares. The new share issue price is 2,500 won per share, equal to the par value of 2,500 won. The 3 billion won raised through this paid-in capital increase will be used entirely as operating funds, with the company planning to execute it during 2026 according to the filing.

■ Allotment Recipients Are Adela and Nova New Technology Funds

The third-party allotment recipients are Adela New Technology Fund No. 66 and Nova New Technology Fund No. 243. A total of 800,000 shares will be allotted to Adela New Technology Fund No. 66 and 400,000 shares to Nova New Technology Fund No. 243. The company explained that the recipients were selected at a board meeting in consideration of the need to secure operating funds necessary for management.

■ Issued at Par Value of 2,500 Won... New Shares to Be Listed in November 2026

The total number of issued shares before the capital increase is 9,637,447 common shares. The payment date for the new shares is November 10, 2026, and the scheduled listing date for the new shares is the 26th of the same month. The dividend commencement date for the new shares is January 1, 2026.

The issue price was set at the par value of 2,500 won because the reference share price calculated under relevant regulations fell below the par value. The reference share price stated in the filing is 2,233.5 won.

The shares to be issued through this paid-in capital increase will be entirely placed under a one-year lockup with the Korea Securities Depository. The company stated that the schedule for the paid-in capital increase may change depending on consultations with relevant institutions.
