Doosan recorded strong performance in the second quarter of 2026. Operating profit increased 37.8% year-on-year, surpassing market expectations.

Doosan announced on the 27th that it had disclosed its provisional consolidated operating results for the second quarter of 2026.

■ Q2 Consolidated Results Summary

Revenue was tallied at KRW 5.5861 trillion and operating profit at KRW 488.4 billion. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased 5.0% and operating profit rose 37.8%. Compared to the previous quarter (Q1), operating profit grew 42.7% and revenue 11.0%.

Profit from continuing operations before income tax expense reached KRW 809.6 billion, up 105.7% year-on-year and 408.2% quarter-on-quarter. Net income for the second quarter was KRW 535.6 billion, increasing 129.7% year-on-year and 427.7% quarter-on-quarter.

Net income attributable to owners of the parent company stood at KRW 355.1 billion, surging 351.8% year-on-year and 808.2% quarter-on-quarter (from KRW 39.1 billion).

■ First-Half Cumulative and Non-Consolidated Results

On a first-half cumulative basis, the company achieved revenue of KRW 10.6175 trillion and operating profit of KRW 830.7 billion. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased 10.4% and operating profit grew 50.2%. Cumulative net income rose 160.6% to KRW 637.1 billion, while cumulative net income attributable to owners of the parent company increased 285.8% to KRW 394.3 billion.

On a non-consolidated basis, second-quarter revenue was KRW 60.2 billion and operating profit was KRW 156.9 billion. These figures represent increases of 13.6% and 42.6% quarter-on-quarter, respectively, and 34.6% and 90.4% year-on-year.

Doosan explained that these results are provisional figures based on Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) consolidated financial statements and may be partially subject to change, as the external auditor's audit has not yet been completed.
