LG Innotek announced on the 27th that it disclosed its preliminary consolidated results for the second quarter of 2026. According to the disclosure, LG Innotek's second-quarter revenue was tallied at KRW 5,527.241 billion and operating profit at KRW 245.754 billion. These figures represent a sharp year-on-year increase of 40.5% (KRW 3,934.575 billion) in revenue and 2,057.3% (KRW 11.392 billion) in operating profit. However, compared to the previous quarter (revenue of KRW 5,534.835 billion and operating profit of KRW 295.32 billion), revenue declined by 0.1% and operating profit by 16.8%. Profit before income tax from continuing operations stood at KRW 222.224 billion, swinging into the black from a loss of KRW 7.714 billion in the same period last year. Net income and net income attributable to owners of the parent also each recorded KRW 169.667 billion, successfully turning to a profit compared to the same period last year (a loss of KRW 8.677 billion), though they decreased by 26.0% from the previous quarter. On a cumulative basis for the first half of this year (January–June), the company achieved revenue of KRW 10,620.677 billion and operating profit of KRW 541.073 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 24.1% in revenue and 296.4% in operating profit. During the same period, profit before income tax from continuing operations was KRW 505.054 billion (up 425.7%), while net income and net income attributable to owners of the parent each recorded KRW 398.81 billion (up 418.4%). The company stated that these results are preliminary consolidated figures based on Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and may be subject to change during the upcoming review process, as the external auditor's accounting review has not yet been completed.
